Welcome to not only another weekend, but also another start of a new month as well. November may be my favorite month of all as the leaves make their way to their peak here in Raleigh as well as celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday and the transition into Christmas. November truly is a month of celebration and wonder. This weekend we will be visiting the NC Museum of Art to visit the Venice and Ottoman Empire exhibit as well as enjoying time outside to savor the fall colors and weather. Time will also fall back this weekend here in the United States which means that the sun will start setting sooner giving us more nighttime to cozy up at home and enjoy the comforts of our personal hygge inspired environments.
This week I will be sharing even more holiday and seasonal things to look forward to as well my usual style and home inspirations. Let’s make November a month to celebrate and savor the coziness of the holiday season upon us.
SHOPPING, BOOKS, MEDIA, ETC.
With the weather getting more and more cooler, now is a good time to look into some transitional pieces and I really liked this soft luxe turtleneck top with three-quarter sleeve in the color black from Banana Republic Factory. It reminded me of Kathleen Kelly in You’ve Got Mail at the Thanksgiving party when she runs into Joe Fox. A chic piece for the cooler months ahead.
Another great item I saw on BR Factory was this suede square buckle belt. This item would look great with a lot of different looks including a pencil skirt, to belt a coat, dress or even a blazer. There are so many uses that could be used for this great accessory.
My jewelry of choice is always a pair of beautiful earrings, whether studs or statements. So, when I saw these pearl drop earrings as well on BR Factory, they too went into my cart (yep, I bought all three items listed above).
Moving on from Banana Republic (but do I ever really?) With the colder months and the winter season about to set in, now is a great time to look for a cozy throw if one is needed and I saw this faux fur blanket on Wal-Mart’s site for only $24.97 which is such a great deal considering Pottery Barn is selling a nearly exact one for $179.00.
While out at Anthropologie this past weekend I saw this cute holiday ginger ceramic stoneware tea for two set. Such a cute idea if you plan on having a holiday teatime with a friend.
This past weekend I picked up this 4-wick holiday print ceramic jar candle from the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia brand at Target in the fireside spruce scent and it has been so lovely. It does have a beautiful mix of a wood fireplace mixed with a spruce tree and this may be my official scent for the holiday season for candles this year.
If you’ve been wanting to get a candle accessories kit, but find them to be expensive, then here is a brass candle accessories kit from Hearth & Hand for only $19.99. This set includes a wick dipper, wick trimmer, candle snuffer, and tray to help your candles burn neatly and evenly.
I love a seasonal themed cookbook and really enjoyed seeing A Cookbook for Winter:

A book that I will be reading through soon is Cosy: The British Art of Comfort. While released back in 2019 I still like to give this a re-read each year to inspire my own coziness at home as well.
A new comedy series on Netflix that looks to be funny, heart-warming and cozy, A Man on the Inside will be sure on my to-watch list this upcoming month.
I recently watched the beautiful Neiman Marcus 2024 holiday short campaign, A Neiman’s Fantasy and I loved the beautiful visuals, lovely music and of course the many sparkles of the upcoming holiday season.
