The Five Items on My Black Friday List + A Holiday Playlist

It’s hard to believe that we are already at the week of Thanksgiving, but we have finally arrived at this most wonderful holiday. I am looking forward to cozying up at home and making all the good food to enjoy and then relaxing by the Christmas tree with a dessert and Christmas movie. With the Thanksgiving holiday also comes the famous Black Friday deals the very next day and luckily it is not the mad dash that it used to be. We can all stay at home in our pajamas as we peruse our favorite stores and start to purchase holiday gifts for others as well as ourselves.  I always start to gather ideas of what I would like for myself and then purchase them during this time. My list always consists of the more expensive items that I would like to have since I know that many stores will be having deep discounts on their items.  That doesn’t mean that I will purchase everything on this list, I may even purchase one or two as I basically gage it by how good the discount it. But here are the 5 items on my Black Friday list for 2024.

Leatherology Snap Planner

With the New Year just around the corner now is a great time to get a new planner for a good discount and this year I want to invest the int Leatherology Snap Planner in Black Croc design.  I think this planner is so chic and I love that you only need to invest in the leather cover to keep and just replace the planner inside every year.

Ember 14 oz Mug

I am slow coffee/tea drinker because I truly savor sitting down and taking my time with a good cup of coffee in the morning.  However, the coffee can get cold after sitting for a while and I find this happens even more quickly when at the office. That is why I will be watching the prices on this Ember 14oz Mug 2 Temperature Control Smart Mug Sandstone on Amazon and Target.  I will use this at work primarily so that I can enjoy my coffee for longer in the morning and tea in the afternoon as well.  While at home I can simply reheat it in the microwave, but at my office the microwaves are on the third floor in the cafeteria and I am on the first, so needless to say I don’t make that trip to just reheat a hot drink.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 Wireless Earbuds

My husband got a pair of these Apple AirPods Pro 2 Wireless Earbuds a month or so back and they truly are noise canceling heavenly headphones.  I use my air pods a lot during the day including in the mornings when I eat breakfast, at work, while shopping, in the parks, and so many other places.  While I have over the ear headphones that are noise canceling, I don’t take them out (except to the gym and traveling) because they would be too bulky.  That is why the air pods are so convenient (also fits easily into any purse or bag) and to have a pair that is noise canceling? That for me is absolutely worth investing in because I use them so often. This is another item I will keep a check on Amazon and Target.

Crocodile Embossed Leather Crossbody Bag

I have a few bags that I really like to use on a day-to-day basis in white and black, but I currently don’t have a brown bag. One that caught my eye recently and was also in one of the Curated Weekly posts is this Crocodile Embossed Leather Crossbody Bag from Banana Republic.  I think it looks so chic and will pair well with a lot of different outfits, so this one is on my list to watch for.

Quinn Leather Jewelry Storage

One item that I have had my eye on for a few years is the Quinn Leather Jewelry Storage from Pottery Barn.  I first saw these while in store and loved their elegance and beautiful design. My current jewelry box which I got from Amazon a few years back is starting to show signs of wear as it is not made of leather, so I know I will want to replace it soon and this option looks to be a high-quality replacement. While I usually really look neutral colors for this item, I am actually really loving the Bordeaux color option, but the fawn color option is a good one too that I am also considering.
